THE AWARD-WINNING JANET GARBER presents:

The French Lover's Wife:A Novel

IN THE PRESS

Janet Garber utilizes her keen sense of the HR world to create a funny glimpse into what might happen in a company run amok. Her writing style is a joy.

Publishers Weekly

This short novel has a promising premise with its flawed, endearing, and comical protagonist and her zany work environment.

ABOUT ME, THE AUTHOR

p-mewistful2.jpg

Janet Garber toiled in the trenches as a HR exec in NYC for xx years, using those experiences to indulge in her prime passion: Writing. She focused on careers (WSJ, NY Post, trade journals), reviewed new books (www.neworldreview.com and simplycharly.com), movies (Stage and Cinema, Senior Film Files), and published a non-fiction book, assorted articles, essays, poems, short fiction, and, in March 2016, her first novel, Dream Job, Wacky Adventures of an HR Manager. Why a comic novel? "I was in a situation that was just ripe for satire."
Dream Job was named a Runner-Up on Shelf Unbound's Best Indie Books contest and a Finalist on Next Generation Indie Book Awards
